Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to everybody who uses SEFA — buyers, stores and delivery partners — through the apps or this website. By creating an account you accept them. A store also accepts the Seller Terms & Conditions, and a buyer the Returns & Refund Policy; where a page covers a subject in more detail, that page applies.

What SEFA is

SEFA is a marketplace. The shops on it sell their own goods; we provide the platform that lists them, takes the order and arranges delivery. The contract for a sale is between the buyer and the store, and the store is responsible for what it sells.

Your account

• You must be 18 or older and give details that are true and current.
• One mobile number is one account. Keep your password private — anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
• A store account can sell only after we have approved it, and we may ask for documents before we do.

Orders and prices

• The price shown in the app is the price you pay for that item, including any discount being offered.
• A store may refuse an order it cannot fulfil — for example when the item is out of stock — and you are not charged for an order that is refused.
• An obvious pricing or listing mistake can be corrected, and an order placed on it cancelled, before it is dispatched.

Delivery

Delivery is to the address on the order, within the area the store covers. Times shown in the app are estimates, not guarantees — weather, traffic and local conditions can delay a parcel. Somebody must be available at the address to take the delivery and to confirm it where a code is required.

Cancellations and returns

An order can be cancelled from the app until the store has dispatched it. After delivery, the Returns & Refund Policy applies and forms part of these terms.

What you may not do

• Use SEFA for anything unlawful, or to sell goods that may not be sold.
• Place or accept false orders, or interfere with another account.
• Copy, scrape or resell the platform, or try to break into any part of it.
• Upload anything abusive, misleading or that infringes somebody else's rights.

Our content

The SEFA name, logo, apps and website are ours. A store keeps the rights to its own product photographs and descriptions, and by uploading them gives us permission to show them on SEFA and in the marketing of the platform.

Suspension

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, misleads buyers, repeatedly fails to fulfil orders, or is used for fraud. Where money is owed, we settle what is due after any amount we are entitled to recover.

Liability

SEFA is provided as it is. We are not liable for the quality of goods sold by a store, for a delay caused by something outside our control, or for indirect losses. Nothing here limits a liability that cannot be limited by law.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Surat, Gujarat have jurisdiction. Please raise a complaint with our support first — most matters are settled there.

Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last changed.
